I couldn't agree more. As I looked back at the gray elephant, now ambling off into the distance, I felt grateful for this experience and the opportunity to have shared it with Kofi. The big elephant may be just one creature in the vast expanse of Africa's wildlife, but in that moment, it was a symbol of something much greater – a connection to the natural world, and our place within it.
And as I walked away from the clearing, camera still at the ready, I knew that this was only the beginning of an incredible journey – one that would take me to the heart of Africa's most breathtaking landscapes, and into the hearts of its most majestic creatures.
